Konni observations from my living experience in UK and tours around Europe:

1. There is a small village near Cambridge,UK named Mildenhall..not many people know that such vast USA Airbase is there with thousands of military personnel.

2. There are so many USA or NATO Airbases and military installations in Southern tip of Germany which were established just after WW-2, to defend USSR's aggression or peep through the wall to see whats happening in USSR occupied Germany. But why are they continued even after USSRs disintegration???

3. When we went for Sourthern Greece holiday and got down at Chania International Airport, the cab driver was showing one of the largest USA military bases in outside USA...WHY is that needed even???

 

So many military installations, USA or NATO, across whole of Europe which is otherwise so peaceful after WW-2...

Why the fcuk are they needed? unless the purpose is to award Defense contracts to Corporations?

That WW-2 changed everything. Prior to that only two super powers were there UK and France. Germany challenged their Hegemony and was at some point in time for a brief period, Hitler was indeed successful.

But his over-ambitions to invade USSR was the reason for entire Europe's debacle and the loss of its colonial states.

Every US president was bad, especially after WW2.

My only point was: Most educated elites hold Obama with high regard even though he is as disastrous as others.
