I strongly recommend not to purchase any properties in India if you don’t have a need of it. I have been saying this to my friends circle since I started my career here

Exactly, not only will it drive up the prices making it unaffordable for locals, but also increase complications during repatriation of those capital gains. Modi is doing the right thing by putting in tougher restrictions.
