I'm Going In Podcast
S2 E8- Ret OKC Firefighter Chris Fields- "Out of Chaos"
I’m honored to welcome Chris Fields to the I’m Going In podcast. Chris is a former Major with the Oklahoma City Fire Department, where he dedicated over 31 years of service, responding to emergencies and saving lives. He is perhaps best known for the iconic photograph taken during the 1995 Oklahoma City bombing, where he cradled the lifeless body of one-year-old Baylee Almon, a haunting reminder of the tragedy that day. Having witnessed the brutal realities of public service, Chris experienced the toll it took on him and his family, leading him to suffer in silence for many years. Now, he is on a mission to change the narrative around mental health for first responders, advocating for the importance of reaching out for help and sharing his own journey of faith, family, and healing. His story is one of resilience, hope, and the courage to be a hero not only to others but also to oneself."I'm Going In" is a transformative podcast hosted by Todd Blyleven, a former professional baseball player, TEDx Speaker, and heroic survivor of the 2017 Las Vegas mass shooting. This powerful show delves into the depths of trauma, offering a platform for individuals to share stories of adversity, resilience, and triumph. Todd, who overcame extreme trauma and PTSD, recounts his own journey, from declaring "I'm going in" to therapy and church, to daily self-improvement. By showcasing guests who've faced similar struggles, the podcast empowers listeners to understand their trauma, declare their own transformative moments, and embark on a path of healing and self-discovery. Join Todd and his guests as they inspire and uplift with tales of strength, courage, and the life-changing decision to say, "I'm Going In."You can find more information on Todd Blyleven and his speaking opportunities at: www.toddblyleven.comThe "I'm Going In" podcast, hosted by Todd Blyleven, aims to share stories of resilience, strength, and trauma recov

From failure to fortune: Jonathan Bouzanquet on blockchain and gaming
Jonathan Bouzanquet, the Co-Founder and Chief Strategy Officer of Playa3ull Games, joined CryptoSlate’s SlateCast alongside Editor-in-Chief Liam “Akiba” Wright and CEO Nate Whitehill. In a thought-provoking discussion, Bouzanquet shared his vision for blockchain gaming, emphasizing a community-first approach, sustainable funding, and the potential of blockchain technology to revolutionize the gaming industry.Building Games Backwards: A Player-Centric PhilosophyThe discussion delved into Playa3ull's unique approach to game development, which they call "building games backwards." This method emphasizes community involvement from the outset.Jonathan stated, "With Play3bull, we bring the community back into the game. We don't want to just tell the player, this is our game, play it or fuck off. We want to say, here's the game. What do you think? How can we make it better?"This strategy involves an advisory council rather than a traditional DAO, aiming for a dialogue between developers and players to shape the game's evolution based on real feedback. The Importance of Digital Asset OwnershipA significant part of the conversation revolved around the benefits of blockchain for gaming, particularly in terms of asset ownership. Jonathan highlighted the frustrations with traditional gaming where players do not own their in-game achievements."Since you invest such enormous amounts of time, it's important to have those assets owned and they are valuable,"he remarked, envisioning a future where these assets could have inter-game utility.Playa3ull's Economic Model: The Bull TokenJonathan detailed Playa3ull's economic system, centered around the Bull Token. Unlike many gaming platforms with separate tokens for each game, Playa3ull uses a single token across its ecosystem for stability and broader utility."So, our coin comes into existence through our node system... half the coin goes to the company for company function, and half the coin goes to the nodes,"he explained, outlining a

The problem we have is that the present administration has promised Chaos and Confusion as the attempt to shake up the government in an attempt to change the US government.

The Stock market hates Uncertainty never mind Chaos. We in my opinion are of the edge of the 2025 Recession. It will be deep and take years to recover from.

We saw with covid the lack of Management skills that an Ego based response delivers. The initial denying the Recession to the eventual admitting and placing the blame on others. Once that stage is complete we go into the phase were the President believes he knows better than financial experts and starts trying off the wall solutions.

We are in for a very bumpy 2025 and I do hope everyone safeguards the gains of the past few years. 1987 is something I lived through and it was scarry

Spotify isn't making profound changes to its business model or product portfolio. The existing plan works just fine, generating impressive user growth and revenue gains along with robust cash profits.

It's hard to complain about 602 million monthly active users (MAUs), including 236 million subscribers to the premium plan, especially when both figures are growing by double-digit percentages year over year.
