Expand Trump’s tariffs will still apply to about 50% of Mexican imports and more than 60% Canadian goods. The president’s exemptions apply only to goods that are compliant with the United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement, the deal negotiated during Trump’s first term that governs trade in North America. Expand Even if recession happens its fine....worst case money will get blocked for sometime......unless its a deep recession like 2008 or 2000. I don't see deep recession as we have many levers like reducing interest rates and stimulus, removing tariffs etc. In any case ..time in the market always beats timing the market.
