If you are referring to the recession, it’s already there. There is a lot of talk on dooms day scenario for US but it won’t happen. If US economy breaks, it will take down world economy with it. We have see. It multiple times before. 
we have seen talk of USD getting weaker, but it has not happened. If US economy is glass, other economies are paper
