Hello, I am getting laid off from my job next week. I have worked as an IT project manager, Application Architect, developer, etc more than 25+ years here in the US. I have no motivation to look for another IT job. Completely drained out.

Can you suggest any remote jobs that can be done on a computer but not IT job. I want to explore trying something new, even if I have to study or to prepare for any exams/certification. Thanks.

I hear you as I am in similiar boat. Unfortunately, the grass is not greener on other side too. Maybe, if you are interested in fishing, join me to Alaska trip where we can fish and sell next month and see how it works . Another job we can think of is renting a Cadillac or Specialty Car for a month and try Uber Premium Service and see whether we can build private clientele where we can make profit. The problem with most of the IT folks like us is that we do not any have any other skill except IT and this is a huge issue when we cross above 50 years where some of us are laid off…..
