Meeru already strong ga decide ayinatunnaru kada waste laws ani.

Certain critical data of the financial institutions can't be stored and accessed from outside the country.

Non critical projects lo work chese US employee ni kuda India nundi remote allow cheyyaru. Enduku ante it is logistically nightmare to decide employee by employee whether they have access to restricted data. Companies prefer to take more safe path (i.e. no working from India), especially when there is no additional benefit to them in taking risky path.

If someone is employed in India, they never get access to critical data in first place.

Point enti ante why don’t they allow remote in India when they allow remote in US like Wells Fargo. Hyd lo they have a big development center but this has nothing to do with it.

In US you will use VPN with xfinity internet at home, in India you will use VPN with airtel internet.

Wells Fargo aiyte very clear, you can work from Alaska/Hawaii also temporarily during vacation but not Mexico. I think it’s more to do with laws that critical data should physically not go out of US.

Ok, got the use-case now. As you mentioned, probably something to do with data privacy laws.
