ACE Inhibitors and ARBs both affect your renal function in far worse manner. My own grand mothers kidney got shrunk after a decade usage of  cocktail of Hypertension meds. Hibiscus tea by that measure has a long history of "safe" use.

Please enumerate the term renal functions being effected by ace inhibitors?. kindly provide data !

I am not arguing or supporting Nayan part. I am just saying the ones you support (aka modern medicine) is not the holy grail.

To be fair, Nayan did nothing wrong here. She merely posted what she thought may helped her or people she knows, and there is enough empirical evidence to show the therapeutic effect of Hibiscus tea. She didn't claim it to be a "drug" or "cure". Liver Doc has unnecessarily made it an issue.

Try reading up the Patient Information or label information for  Lisinopril, Ramipril. The first thing you find in the warnings is the effect on the renal function. These are FDA approved labels. By and large for all ACE Inhibitors, you'd see renal function being stated multiple times in their label information either in warnings and /or precautions.  Furthermore, Hyperkalemia risk is always stated in these labels which is another indicator of renal function.
