pick up truck advise?

Looking for second car mostly SUV.One of my friends suggestd to go with pick up truck as these days they are becoming more sleek in design and the gap between traditional crossovers and pickups are narrowing. Also if you own a single family, it comes very handy to haul away stuff, blah blah blah.

Any one in this group who own pick up trucks wanna share your insight?

Also any recommendations? my need is to be used a secondary car, can be a compact/mid size truck to help with gardening stuff or any other haul away items. Toyota Tacoma and Nissan Frontier looks good in mid size category.

Interested to hear db thoughts?

depends on use. just garden stuff hauling or home items hauling then tacoma is good. check towing capacity on it. if you want to tow something then tundra needed.  but all pickup trucks are gas guzzlers.

If you need a pickup truck you would have felt the need by now. secondary car kosam pickup truck waste.

If you haul stuff all the time, feel limited in means to get bulky things from any store or constantly lug large items it makes absolute sense. aadevado cheppadu ani nuvvu konadam illogical

Thanks for your response. I also want to try it out. I already have an SUV. These days compact/mid size pick up trucks are also giving decent mileage like any other luxury entry SUVs so if it serves the purpose of SUV and offer more space to haul stuff , why not ani na feeling...

ok, tacoma seems to be in sweet spot in terms of size and reliability. But may have to pay little bit for the brand as it is in demand than the counter parts. 21mpg combined antunnaru gas mileage which is not bad ...

there are better options than Tacoma in the same segment unless you want Toyota reliability. Real world mileage is 18 or less

Small pickup trucks are waste… they are like a small suv and nothing big fits in the truck.. unless you haul something regularly, you don’t need it… it will be useful to your friends than you the most… seating inside is also very uncomfortable

if you really want to experience a truck (drive, pickup, that huge car feeling), try a ford f150 or Toyota tundra or a Ram 1500… try it for rental and see how you feel..

If you are looking for exotic vehicles, try jeep wrangler 4xe lease
