Western ppl were always barbaric and all they knew was to prey on others in cruel ways to make them bend to their will! Indian provinces were rich & we were far ahead in terms of civilization, which attracted the attention of Mughals first and then the Western nations.

Hinduism / Casteism within hinduism had no role to play in making the invaders stronger! Its just their way of tricking the provincial rulers and using the differences between them, which helped them to control most of the provinces! 

Do u even know what all things did british do?? they tried to wipe out our cultural heritage, burnt our knowledge libraries, demolished structures that reflected our belief system, changed the indigenous education system to read the stories which talked about their greatness, just like you do now! Forced ppl to convert in to christianity by establishing christian missionaries linking it with schools that implemented English teaching, not because they cared for our growth, but so that they can communicate with us and make us work for them! Assaulted our women & killed tens of thousands of innocents just for fun! They tried to take away our self-confidence, so that we could always remain submissive to them! 

Asal casteism ki main reason ento thelusa?? It's invasion by outsiders .. Hinduism followed varna system and it was purely based on one's profession / skill, but not rigid! People can switch to different varnas by learning the skill of their choice !! When mughals started ruling .. the rulers didnt allow any strict rules for alliances within same group / community, neither did they follow .. that is when Brahmins to secure their dominance .. came up with a rule book 'Manusmriti', that talks about social order and  also about the rules of marriage / alliances among communities .. one of the rules said .. higher varna girl marrying lower varna boy would be known as Chandala (Untouchable) .. so it was because of such interpretations by some selfish ppl to safeguard their dominance .. this mess was created! The same book was later burnt by B R Ambedkar ... but it was too late, by then!

Only reason i could think of, is they might be greedy & selfish but definitely not as cruel as the enemy that came to our shores, courtesy our culture!

As an Indian, i can proudly say that there is no country in this entire world, that accommodates so many different cultures, languages, belief systems, religions, communities, tribes, highest population, to say the least, with a kind of stability that even the most developed nations which have been independent for centuries, find it difficult to achieve, courtesy our cultural heritage!!

Almost all the mess & chaos in this world today, is a consequence of conspiracies planned by the so-called developed nations to secure their dominance & control over the rest, & sooner or later it'll bury them!
