Position Summary:
We are looking for a candidate to augment our specialized test group, which is composed of functional automation, SOA testing, and performance testing.

Primary responsibility includes automation of complete end-to-end flow, using ITKO LISA and/or QTP tools. LISA is used to validate all aspects of a web service, from service virtualization to unit and functional testing of client and server, to performance testing. This project involves complete end-to-end testing of various interfaces.

We are looking for a candidate who has development experience (preferably java) and is well versed in systems integration technologies.

Essential Job Functions:
*      Participate in application technical design process
*      Identify test automation opportunities
*      Elicit & understand SOA requirements
Understand SOA Reference Architecture
*      Plan, design, and develop automated test scripts
*      Help to enhance automation framework, library functions and object repositories
*      Execute tests, document and analyze test results
*      Present findings to development teams
*      Report and document defects found during test execution
*      Develop and maintain good relationship with project team
*      Provide test services for support activities and work with release management to assure product release quality
*      Work with development teams to instill testability into development practices
*      Help QA develop, implement, and maintain quality and test procedures, processes and best practices

Minimum Position Qualifications:
*      Bachelor's degree in IS or related equivalent work experience in an Information Systems position.
*      2-4 years experience in testing software using similar technologies.
*      Experience in discipline of functional automation
*      Experience with systems integration testing
*      WSDL, XML, and / or SOAP messaging
*      Testing MMQ or MQ Series messaging
*      Experience with testing backend applications using sql statements
*      Proficient with using scripting languages
*      Proficient with XSD and XPath syntax
*      Hands on experience with QTP
*      Hands on experience with LISA or other web service testing tool is a plus
*      Experience with javascript, html, xml, sql development with sql server, informix ,db2/udb and or Oracle
*      Understanding of regression testing techniques
