A very sad state we are in as a country and world.

We were all taught when growing up that education reduces crime and abuse but even that doesn't seem to be true at this point - we now keep seeing super rich and educated doing the same in a sophisticated and organized manner avoiding the law.

Nothing will change until we as humans start caring for fellow humans.

Yeah in ur dreams especially among these cut throat Indians

These are not last 30 day's news articles. All of these crimes happened in last 1 or 2 days across different parts of India. And these are heinous crimes. Other thousands of harassment, abuse and assaults cases have not even made it into the news. Absolutely pathetic state of women's safety. Very alarming situation.

Perspective is good but not practical. Let's say they document the personality of that rap**t, how will they stop the next one? It's not a DB where they can query and get results of such people. We do not know that a psycho exists until he is caught. By that time, he/she had already done damage.

However, a framework can be built via laws, strict punishment, Awareness, hotlines, CCTV Cameras, etc to reduce these incidents.

There is an animal in every person. It's tamed due to Image, family, fear of punishment, society, etc. It emerges when desire (money, revenge, emotions, Kama vancha) overtakes.

why not practical ??

schooling lo as kids we were caned, that is the way of disciplining ani kodutunde. but later on its not the way to deal with children,  ani we evolved.

yes for sure brutal punishments vundali at the same time we need to identify why these things are happening what is the thought process of the perpetrators;  so that as a society what can we do much better ani.

ippudu school poragallu did molested and killed a small girl in AP, do you think they would not do if they are aware of the brutal punishments; there is something which needs to be address which we are failing to identify.

You are saying what I suggested. The video says something else. He is not talking abt severe punishment, but rather interview those people and find what goes on in their mind and catch such people. I am not sure how you can catch them.

He says punishment does not work. The person who did the offence 4 months after nirbhaya, must have known the consequences, but still did .. annadi atani argument.

Nirbhaya documentary chusava; rapists were unapologetic about the gruesome thing they had done; vallaki aa thought process vundii sabak shikana ante valla drusti lo ade inka;

so in that cases do you think brutal punishments will stop them from doing it ?? ala chesevalla or cheyali anukune valla thought process kuda marali kada;

hyd lo school frnd ee oka ammai ni rape chesadu; punishments vuntayi ani telsi kuda chesadu ante there is something we are failing to identify kada bro.

naa argument aithe both brutal punishments vundali and at the same time these assessments help understanding psyche of such idiots.

Probably moral classes needed and must in schools. We used to read chandamama that had a lot of morals. Same with panchatantra.

Need more of preachings right vs wrong in temples, church, mosques and on TV. Should be mandatory.
May be some % will change esp when taught from young age.
