End of the day its their reputation at stake, hr will listen to the external counsel and there is a reason they pay them. Chesedi em ledu try to talk to the lawyer directly and explain, if they dont listen there is nothing you can do about it

Oka doubt.. why did they cancel your contract without filing for H1? They can file it while extending the contract right? Or file it upfront before your current contract expired..
