Jagan Backs Amaravati - Ends Capital Debate

The construction of Amaravati was a top priority for Chandrababu Naidu's government, which managed to secure funding for this project despite facing financial constraints in other areas.

The goal was to establish a capital resilient enough to endure future political shifts, especially since some TDP leaders own significant properties in the region.

There is now significant interest in understanding former Chief Minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy's stance on Amaravati.

Jagan appears disinterested in relocating the capital or revisiting the debate. Instead, he seems to support continuing with Amaravati, as indicated by YCP MP Mithun Reddy’s request in the Lok Sabha for a ₹15,000 crore grant for its development, rather than a loan.

This suggests that concerns about Amaravati being replaced if Jagan returns to power are unwarranted.

Although Jagan previously considered making Visakhapatnam the capital, public opposition led him to abandon the idea.

The YCP has now settled on Amaravati as the permanent capital.

After years of discussions about three potential capitals, Jagan and his close advisors have decisively chosen to retain Amaravati’s status.

He lost his credibility by targetting Amarvathi farmers and targetting PK fans who are mostly cops.

Also real estate Reddies were very much disappointed.

And then he united Kommas who otherwise look scattered among different parties

picha lite, ycp won't have future anymore

some people supported jagga, so that he will target one vargam , but he targeted all casettes, so he lost relevance

There is no alternative for ycp.as long as congress doesn't win at the center ,ycp and other party will be alternating.

As a jagan supporter, I'm not expecting u wud like to believe in amaravati as the capital. But, you shud learn to adapt this fact. Once govt provide basic infrastructure, its just a matter of time before things come up in a land hungry country like India. Saturation concept may be true for developed countries like US where land is abundant.

Amaravati rail and road linking aipothe anni aipothai. Already central institutes like NID, AIIMS are in, National institute of law is also coming soon. Dont worry, amaravathi will continue to grow and prosper....if AP ppl can keep jagga out for 1 more term or forever.

This time around, I did not find any enthusiasm from UK Kommas...must be the same with USA Kommas also.

They realized Power is not very constant and they cannot rely on it really.

Very tough lessons were learnt 2019-2024. They will never forget.

AFAIK no bulk monies are being transported from USA/EU/UK to India by Kommas for obvious reasons.
