Wait it out and see how the team works.. if you start complaining now, you may get in trouble.. it’s their kingdom now 😀

you need patience if you want to bring change

For every discussion schedule an official meeting, every topic be it major or minor, critical or good to do thing, regular or occasional incident, schedule a meeting, at least a short 15min or 30 mins and send MoM after the meeting, what each participant expressed or action items for everyone and share/circulate it, appudu prathi okkadi activities, responsibilities, contribution, accountability, knowledge antha expose ayithadhi

People don’t like change.. if you don’t like the culture and especially if the manager is happy with the way things are, you cannot do much.. just let it go and if it becomes unbearable , move to another team or another company..

you can’t bring change if you are just a team member… in my experience, you make lot of enemies..

You are an outsider now. In my experience complaining does not take you anywhere. Every team, you have people like this. Ignore and carry on with your work. Use confluence or meeting notes, put action items and assign to specific people as discussed. You ask everyone to take turns to run the meeting and take notes/action items.

Do not target someone or mention a persons name when they ask a question. Like e.g. Someone asks hey how does this work. Document - "We discussed the architecture for XYZ".

Remember its not your job to manage the team. It's your managers.
