Cost of cooking lunch-dinner at home - family 4.

one month grocery bills track chesi lekkalu veste following is avg costs as per inflation.  Ofcourse rice/chapati/quinoa preference, meat and fruit/snack choice would change the avg cost.

Rice 20 lbs - 80cups - 30cents/cup - 5cups/day - $1.5/day
2 vegs 2lbs each/whole chicken - $12/day
oil+thalimpu/popu+curryleaves+kothimeera/pudina+Others - $1.5/day
Curd 5lb - $8/week - $1.20/day
2trays of 18Eggs - $10/week => $1.42/day
Natural gas/power for stove = $40/mo = $1.33/day

per day lunch-dinner cost for family of 4 =~ $18.95/day =~ 568.6/mo

Healthy snack:
Fruits - 1pac apple + 1pac pear + 1pac oranges - $20/week - $2.85/day
Veg tray - $10/week - $1.42/day

Excluding breakfast total meals and snack cost =~ $23.22/day =~ $696.6/mo

Ekkuva alochinchaku uncle.. limit outside food.. kudirithe vere expenses thagginchuko..  I think we are all earning well enough to not think and worry about what we are spending on food that we eat at home..

Correct Anna, I also started lekkalu on how to save groceries. Chi dani amma!!! parents family to dooram ga undi malli healthy ga kavalsindi tinakonda entuku ee batuku anipinchindi. So resturants almost 70% cut chesa but home lo mutton salmon chicken continued.

curry points, break fast combos, spl veh thalis , weekend buffets with mutton ,prawns & desserts

If you can’t eat what you want to eat, manam sampadinchadam antaa waste.. otherwise we just have to live with eating tomatoes and potatoes all our life 😀

waste to live baa honestly

if you cannot eat good healthy food with what you earn, what is the point?
