There is no such thing called as telangana ,tg was long back colonized by telugu people ,before that it was gond land and then kannada/telugu land and was converted completely to telugu land.

Just look at all major castes in tg ,most reddy subcastes in tg have present day andhra origin names,padmanayakas are from andhra ,niyogis are from andhra ,komatis are from andhra ,munnuru kaapus are from andhra.

I think gouds(edigas),kurabas might have kannadiga origins,also kakatiyas were most-probably kannadigas initially who later have adopted telugu culture and most their top brass was again andhra origin reddies and padmanayakas from andhra.

In all probability ,the people fighting for tg sentiment like @Android_Halwa are not the colonized but the descendants of colonizers themselves.

It was not the telugu state, but Andhra state was demanded. Let me re-run again, it was Andhra state that was demanded by PSR, not telugu state. Don’t get confused…Andhras were treated as secondary citizens in Madras and hence PSR felt Andhras need a state of their own….

Go back to the history books, it was telugu speaking areas of Madras, which even included Madras city too but ut was jot included in Andhra state. 

Gujarat, Maharastra…language kanna business and culture played a deciding factor…Im case of Jharkhand and Chhatisgarh exploitation, Punjab and Haryana case la self respect of jats, etc. North east states based on local tribes, etc. 

Language based partition was a failed idea, it did not work. Best example is Andra state..

Hyderabad state was also nbroken in language based maha, kar,AP. 
Bombay state was broken in to maha and guj based on language. Punjab was broken in to Punjab and hayrana based on language.

On top of it anycan can see world map - germany, france, england, russia, japan, korea.

It's not make believe history ,it is based on archeological evidence , etymology of names/places/tribes and even genetic evidence in recent times.
