Sri city has grown due to proximity to Chennai . There are many mncs like apollo tyre , hero motors , pepsico , alstom , cadbury , kelloggs , isuzu , daikin etc . It is also has a iiit .

Tirupati has got 3 five str hotels , iit , iiser and electronics companies like oppotech , dixon , tcl , celkon .

Amara raja established facility in chittoor .

Nellore has 4 thermal plants near krishnapatnam port .

Penukonda has attracted kia and many ancillary industries like seoyon , sungwoo , doowon , daechang .

Tadipatri jammalamadugu belt got ultratech , penna , dalmia , zuari , india , ramco cement plants and thermal plant , mega solar parks .

Kadapa got airport and century ply .

Orvakal kurnool belt got airport , maha cements , jsw cements , jaitaj steel , mega solar park and even a iiit .

Since the region doesn't have much agri potential , it has great potential to attract automobile , electronics  and mineral based industries .

Tourism has good potential , srisailam , kalahasti , tirupati , lepakshi , gandikota have good potential for tourism and growth of employment .

these factories were there from many decades, guess why the area is not developed .

Faction fights and also extremely drought prone areas.

Even chittoor is drought prone although not as much ATP ,but has developed rapidly due to having no factionism,even most of kadapa has developed rapidly from 90's because of less factionism.

Only most of kurnool and atp remain underdeveloped because of factionism.

Faction fights is a effect of a symptom.

Most of the Wealth is concentrated in handful of families even though there are several factories. Infact those factories have caused lot of health issues to general public .
