its not like that anna..there are only major two ideologies in democracy, left leaning and right wing. you can be inclined towards one thing vs other on the spectrum but these are the only two. They look at the Candidate , his views and his team , how he pulls off the campaign etc. There is much more to just choosing other side because people are bored with one side

4) US is trying to prop up India as an alternative to China. This has been going on from George Bush’s period.
