I watched a video on Insta where Kavithakka is taking KCR's blessings by touching his feet.

The comments section is flooded with - "Its not Telangana culture for a daughter to touch her father's feet. Rather a father or brother could touch the daughter's feet."

Is this true? Reasoning?

Yes

in Telangana daughter’s sister’s feet touch chesthar

even in some places in north if you treat your mom siter and daughter as lakshmi and take blessings you will get money fame and become rich

They do some pooja to the women in the house on some auspicious day and take blessings after the pooja.. it is not that they will take blessings from the daughter all the time..

Some parents do man. They tough daughters feet it’s not a culture thing for some it’s a sentiment. They treat daughters like Lakshmi devi

Daughter is  considered as god bro. So we don’t let them touch our feet, even you are dad. We take blessings from her.

Mostly all over Telangana unless migrated from Andhra ppl

reason: girl is always considered goddess lakshmi and she is the owner or queen of some other house… if U married a gal and she has a brother who has wife and 2 kids 1 boy 1 gal then the entire brother in law family should respect you except the girl kid of your brother in law.

itla chala rules untay

Marriage ki kuda… brother and sister unte valla kids ki…. Sister’s sons can marry borther’s daughters… but vice versa is not accepted ( ee madya modernise ayyi they are doing ani vinna)

sister’s kids are always superior vallu borther’s kids kanna chinna vallu ayina vallani bava vadina ani pilavali( idhi kuda ee madya manesaru)
