Kondaveeti vaagu flooded. Erra cheruvu Katta tegindhi. Both happened. CRDA area is over 8,000 sq.km. These areas are within the jurisdiction of CRDA and are part of CAPITAL AREA. Satellite image lo Green unna area antha flooded area

From India today (Source)

"Shades of green and blue in these false colour composite images, processed by India Today, represent flood waters, while hues of mustard yellow indicate concrete structures and settlements. The different colours of the flood waters are due to variations in sediments and dissolved substances."

You can clearly see green color to the left of the satellite image which is basically on the left of PRAKASAM BARRAGE, which is flooded area.

Ippudu plain agricultural lands kavochu, konni years ki water logging financial district kante inka disaster avthadhi if you keep building concrete structures there. Inka Hyd plateau area, unlike Amravathi which is fertile plain.

Akkada Janalu flood leduraa babu ani videos pedutunte.. proof lekunda munigipoyindi baboy ani nee crying..nizam ga munigithe happiness tho pothavemo bro.. too much hatred not good for anything..

Amavaravati capital from scratch chestunaar so its a good oppurtunity to avoid mistakes what other legacy capital cities are sufferring from..... Hydra type implementation with its own police task force is required..... land development has to start from Storm drainage system without buildings roads and buildings first.... Storm Drainage 1st priority iyyakapothe....... It will be disaster for future generations...... Being near the riverbed and land is flat near sea level.... I'm skeptical Indian engineers can pull this off near perfect like developed countries.

ok I thought it was only about Amaravathi, not entire CRDA. yes CRDA wise due to budameru vijayawada side submerged.

On the amaravathi side wherever you see green are vacant fields. ofcourse for a 28 cm rain you see water in the field as no drain system. Kondaveeti vaagu was fine even in your image as it was already taken care.

If you want to compare with hyd, like any other city in the country hyd lo even for 5cms rain roads getting flooded.

With 28 cm rain, Amaravathi(not crda), there was no water logging on the roads. Where the construction was done, everything cleared right away. Fields lo water will pool as there wont be any drain system yet. That is the case of any vacant lands in any other city

And this is the benefit of the new city. You can properly plan the drain system unlike our other unplanned cities.

Example is how kondaveeti flooding handled without causing any impact.

one thing this unprecedented rains and never before floods to prakasam barrage(11.5 lkh cusecs) only proved Amaravathi can handle the flood water just fine, better than any other city of the country. 28cms rain is not a joke combined with 11.5 lk cusecs of flood from upstream

coming to flooding of vijayawada, I totally blame the govt for not handling the budameru well, not notifying the public in advance, not taking care of budameru bunds and nalas before hand, though they had atleast 3 days time

That's not needed. Watch the map in this website - https://gis.apcrda.org/lps/index.html, you may need to check at micro-level to understand the entire thing. The entire 217 square kilometers area has been divided into plots and geo-tagged. Its part of the master plan and the agreement between CRDA and the farmers. Nenu residential plot konna an year back. I bought it for an investment or to build a small farm house and sell it in the future. I came to know later, that I can't build a house there, I can only build an apartment in that place, that's when I came to know the entire thing. The commenrical places, residential places, parks, water bodies, roads, drians and every thing is in fixed position. About the floods, the land other side of the Karakatta (not part of Amaravati capital) may be at lower level compared to the other side where the capital lies. Vijawada sea level ki 11m unte, Amaravati 49m etthu lo untundhi. They are designed 3 big ponds which hold more than 5tmc water. Chances of Krishna water coming the other side is very rare. Kondaveedu vaagu (and some other vaagu) pongithe chance undhi, 100 years lo ippati varaku raledhu. Dhaniki kooda 2016/17 lo anukunta lift irrigation complete chesaru. For investment plans, I have done thorough research in2023.
