Submerging and flooding happened and still submerged areas are actually in vijayawada city. Due to budameru.

Atleast since aug 28 they had the warnings, govt could have avoided it. It utter failure of the govt

If you see the map, you will see the areas of tadikonda, and mangalagiri are also water logged with floods. Kondaveeti vaagu indeed flooded. If you look at the image that I posted the left bottom which is the left side of prakasham barrage is within the Capital region.

Then there is Erra cheruvu which also flooded the low lying agricultural lands in the Capital region (mangalagiri). Look at the image to the left below the kondaveeti vaagu.

These areas are taken up by the government under land pooling. If the plain agricultural lands look like these then imagine how much water logging may occur if the area is covered with concrete structures and roads.

అమరావతి ముంపు ప్రాంతం అనే ముద్ర వేయాలన్నది జగన్ కల అని, ఆ కలను సాకారం చేసేందుకు కొందరు కృషి చేస్తున్నారని నిమ్మల మండిపడ్డారు. ఈ దిశగా కొన్ని పేటీఎం బ్యాచ్ లు, పెయిడ్ చానళ్లు తీవ్రస్థాయిలో దుష్ప్రచారం చేస్తున్నాయని ధ్వజమెత్తారు.

కృష్ణా నది కరకట్టపై మంతెన సత్యనారాయణరాజు ఆశ్రమం వద్ద షట్టర్ కు ఐదేళ్లుగా గ్రీజు పెట్టలేదని అన్నారు. ప్రకాశం బ్యారేజిలోకి నాలుగు బోట్లు కొట్టుకురావడం వెనుక వైసీపీ కుట్ర ఉండొచ్చని నిమ్మల వ్యాఖ్యానించారు. వైసీపీ నేతలు అంత దుర్మార్గం చేయగల ఘనులేనని, అందులో ఆశ్చర్యపోనక్కర్లేదని పేర్కొన్నారు.

కృష్ణా నదిలో ఇంత వరద నీరు ఎప్పుడూ చూడలేదని నిమ్మల వెల్లడించారు. వరద ప్రాంతాల్లో సమర్థంగా సహాయ చర్యలు అందిస్తున్నామని తెలిపారు. ఇటువంటి సంక్షోభ సమయాల్లో ఎలా పనిచేయాలో చంద్రబాబుకు తెలుసని నిమ్మల స్పష్టం చేశారు. 

సీఎం స్వయంగా వరద ప్రాంతాల్లోనే ఉండి సహాయక చర్యలను పర్యవేక్షిస్తున్నారని వివరించారు. ఆయన రాత్రి కూడా ముంపు ప్రాంతాల్లోనే ఉండి, అధికారులను అప్రమత్తం చేశారని తెలిపారు. 

బుడమేరుకు గండ్లు గత ప్రభుత్వ పాలనా వైఫల్యానికి నిదర్శనం అని మంత్రి నిమ్మల రామానాయుడు విమర్శించారు. గత ఐదేళ్లుగా బుడమేరులో లైనింగ్, విస్తరణ పనులు చేపట్టలేదని ఆరోపించారు. 

ప్రాజెక్టు గేట్ల నిపుణుడు కన్నయ్యనాయుడిని ప్రకాశం బ్యారేజి వద్దకు తీసుకెళుతున్నామని, ప్రకాశం బ్యారేజి వద్దకు కొట్టుకువచ్చి గేట్లకు అడ్డుగా ఉన్న బోట్లను తొలగించేందుకు చర్యలు తీసుకుంటామని చెప్పారు. ఈ రాత్రికి ప్రకాశం బ్యారేజి వద్ద మరమ్మతు పనులు నిర్వహిస్తారని వెల్లడించారు. బుడమేరుకు పడిన మూడు గండ్లను కూడా ఈ రాత్రికి పూడ్చేందుకు ప్రయత్నిస్తున్నామని వెల్లడించారు.

Given the fact india is developing country and world economy is slowing down and with poor state finances , i doubt amaravati will ever become like bangalore , chennai , hyderabad kind of cities...
