You can clearly see green color to the left of the satellite image which is basically on the left of PRAKASAM BARRAGE, which is flooded area. 

Ippudu plain agricultural lands kavochu, konni years ki water logging financial district kante inka disaster avthadhi if you keep building concrete structures there. Inka Hyd plateau area, unlike Amravathi which is fertile plain.

Satellite images cheppedhi tappu antava. Adhi proof kadhantava?

Janalu valla area  lo flood ledhani chepthunnaru. Dani meaning CRDA 8,ooo sq.km paridhi ledhani kadhu. Mungina areas prasthuthaniki polalu, land pooling area lo unnavi. Indhulo hatred ekkada undhi?

Amavaravati capital from scratch chestunaar so its a good oppurtunity to avoid mistakes what other legacy capital cities are sufferring from..... Hydra type implementation with its own police task force is required..... land development has to start from Storm drainage system without buildings roads and buildings first.... Storm Drainage 1st priority iyyakapothe....... It will be disaster for future generations...... Being near the riverbed and land is flat near sea level.... I'm skeptical Indian engineers can pull this off near perfect like developed countries.

ok I thought it was only about Amaravathi, not entire CRDA. yes CRDA wise due to budameru vijayawada side submerged.

 

On the amaravathi side wherever you see green are vacant fields. ofcourse for a 28 cm rain you see water in the field as no drain system. Kondaveeti vaagu was fine even in your image as it was already taken care.

If you want to compare with hyd, like any other city in the country hyd lo even for 5cms rain roads getting flooded.

With 28 cm rain, Amaravathi(not crda), there was no water logging on the roads. Where the construction was done, everything cleared right away. Fields lo water will pool as there wont be any drain system yet. That is the case of any vacant lands in any other city

And this is the benefit of the new city. You can properly plan the drain system unlike our other unplanned cities.

Example is how kondaveeti flooding handled without causing any impact.

one thing this unprecedented rains and never before floods to prakasam barrage(11.5 lkh cusecs) only proved Amaravathi can handle the flood water just fine, better than any other city of the country. 28cms rain is not a joke combined with 11.5 lk cusecs of flood from upstream

 

coming to flooding of vijayawada, I totally blame the govt for not handling the budameru well, not notifying the public in advance, not taking care of budameru bunds and nalas before hand, though they had atleast 3 days time

Planning, drainage Anni cities ki untaadhi. Encroachments chesi manage chesthe em chestham? Amaravathi ippudu munaganidhi kadhu, chala CRDA area inka low lying area. Nenu cheppadam kaadhu IIT Madras varu chepparu
