Popular Post Anta Assamey
Jagan Mohan Reddy visited Andhra Pradesh to meet and interact with the flood victims. He stated that the government delayed lifting the Budameru Gates at the right time, which led to the flooding of the entire city of Vijayawada. He pointed out that the weather forecast had warned about the cyclone much earlier, indicating that extreme rainfall would begin on Friday. Despite these warnings, Jagan Mohan Reddy said that the state government failed to take the necessary measures, such as gradually releasing water to mitigate the impact of the flood. "By not opening the gates in time, the floodwaters accumulated and then gushed out with extra force, flooding the entire Vijayawada area. Because the floodwaters were so extreme, the authorities had no choice but to open the gates, which resulted in the flooding of the entire city. Chandrababu should apologize to the people for this human error and for not conducting rescue operations efficiently," he concluded. Jagan Mohan Reddy clearly explained how this disaster was the result of the inefficiency and lack of proactive measures taken by the Andhra Pradesh Government. 4

"It is quite astonishing that Jagan lacks the minimum knowledge about Budameru canal which has no gates at all. Budameru canal is a rivulet that swelled due encroachments and absence of adequate diversion mechanisms. Jagan’s statements not only shocked the public but also those who accompanied him during this visit. Once again, he has become an easy target for trolls. Budameru is also known as The Sorrow of Vijayawada.[1][2] In order to control the floods, the river was dammed with the Velagaleru Regulator at Velagaleru village and a diversion channel named, Budameru Diversion Channel (BDC) was constructed from Velagaleru to join Krishna River upstream of Prakasam Barrage.[3] Aerial view of Budameru near Ramavarappadu isn't a regulator meant water being regulated by either a plank or a gate ey gaa ??? am i missing something pilla kalavalake vuntaayi gaa baa budameru to lekapovatam enti strange and confused two issues budameru way lo chaala encroachments like mentioned above also current diversion mechanism adey budameru diversion channel krishna loki akkada kooda gandi padinattundhi anukunta. vegasvegas
3 hours ago, Naaperushiva said: but thammullu saying no gates anta budameru ki kadha... Maha vamsi and mana thammullu gulte etc etc saying baa thats bullshit. 2 kinds of regulators they constructed at velagaleru after 2009 budameru floods. 1 to stop the flow to vja(already unna 1970s regulator upgraded), which is budamerus natural path and release in controlled manner. second a little bit upstream is to divert budameru water to krishna by linking it to polavaram right canal. it was 10k cusec capacity later increased to 17k cusec capacity. So when flood comes, first they divert the water to krishna thru diversion canal. If that reaches full capacity they will release the flood to go thru vijayawada Here, they started diverting to krishna, but did not anticipate much more flood. So released the water suddently in the night to vijayawada breaking all hell lose. Its 100 percent govt failure. Also as jagan said it has nothing to do with cbn's house
