In the 70’s and 80’s, Communist parties had considerable strength and they have used Vizag Steel plant issue as their main point of agitation to attack ruling govt which was Congress. State govt land aquire chesindi and compensation was also paid then, back then land acquisition laws were not so string as they are today yet many people got jobs.
