GC.Have an option in my current company for to switch to middle

Middle management ante sr. Manager or director aa? While there are fewer options to switch at that level it also opens up a lot of possibilities for upward mobility

@Konebhar6 Need an career advice bro.i am a 40 year old solution architect with GC.Have an option in my current company for to switch to middle management. But thinking it is a risky career move as it would very difficult to get manager roles in other companies in case of layoff. But if I am in technical architect role there might be more job options. What do you think?

Opportunities do not come often. When an opportunity arises, grab it. Mostly, there might be an impact to middle management positions if we head into a recession. You know your company's situation and where you stand there.

Now the second part, do you like it? Understand the job responsibilities. Are you ready to lead your team, handle stress, make decisions, handle reviews, people management, give updates to management, PPT presentations, etc? But there are positives like financial perks, power, decision-making, being a leader, recognition, etc.

Make an informed decision. Weigh positives and negatives.

It is a partial responsibility daniki ft or contractors enduku. Companies have realized that.

A lot of positions will be eliminated in the future. AI writing code will have an impact on Developers' roles as well.

Depends on your company.

Architect ->Solution Architect -> Enterprise Architect -> Chief Enterprise Architect (1 position only) in most companies. Enterprise Architect is usually equivalent to a Manager role in terms of salary/grades and other perks. CEA is the Sr. Manager equivalent.

Usually after EA, there is not much growth except CEA or CTO. However, some Organizations are adding Sr. EA's role to allow the job family some growth.
