Paneer doda also called Doda Phool is very healthy. Take 5 soak in water overnight, squeeze the juice into water by squishing it and throw doda away. Drink water. Tastes bitter.

Health benefits include -> Regulating blood sugar, helps with respiratory issues.

My sugar is nearby border. Started 1.5 months back. Will check sugar levels and give an update.

Anyone else use this?

Consuming Apple Cider Vinegar before each meal also reduced blood sugar levels

Fasting helps a lot.

Diabetes is mainly resistance to Insulin.

A heavy drinker will have to drink 6-10 beers to have an effect. But for someone who never drank before 1-2 Beers should be enough. Same concept for insulin.

Intermittent fasting plus 36-48 hour fasting once a month would lead to body getting adjusted to lower Insulin levels and hence the resistance would decrease.

Also, you can rearrange the food to have less Insulin spike...like have couple nuts (almonds) or protein(egg white) and then have food.

Protein in food reduces sugar spike as well.

And then the regular stuff like walking after/before eating, regular physical activity, drinking enough water, sleep, vitamin D, reducing screen time, being mindful(think about your emotional state when you go for food) ... all prevent diabetes.

Also make sure that you don't have sugar or sugary items inside your house(Make bad things hard to do, good things easy to do). If there is a craving , go outside and eat icecream and be done with it. Enjoy it. Its fine.

Its the sugary items that you eat without enjoying it and on a frequent basis without knowing does most damage.

Good ones. Already practice most of them. Luckily I don't have a sweet tooth. And we don't keep sugary items in home.
