Your feeling may be right but the way you expressed it not right.

I am not sure how the other person could do this in 3 points, but this is why I would need 8 points - Lay out why it would take 8 story points. This is also an opportunity to highlight yourself with stuff like, I do unit testing thoroughly, I want to make sure I deliver quality code, etc. 

Also tell her in a normal tone that its not OK to compare with someone else. You both are different people with different experience, etc. 

Build relationships, will be useful over time.

Next time ask her to arrange a meeting with that fucker who gave that number.. Prepare yourself well for the meeting and ask him politely how the number was derived, There might be better way of doing the work. Do not let your ego take over the situation..

Whatever you said works for Males kaka.. Ladies who became manager has ton's of EGO and will not agree with you on any of it.. What ever you mentioned would be a full defense mode.. For Ladies we should be in attacking position not in defense ..
