In fact, many belive, Advani has fought against preferential treatment given  to one set of people by rulers at that time . He was successful to most extent and should be appreciated  for current political dynamics where all indian citizens are treated equally mostly with little more changes. Ofcourse  some unfortunate sporadic events from both sides are condemnable.

To my understanding, manipur is a different issue. there are small local disturbances everywhere including andhra. They should not be seen in broader national context.

Advani is not responsible for them.

Who is asking souther states not to elect bjp governments. They are stuck up with regional political and missing the bjp bus. They hate bjp and cry it's not helping them.

BJP was split from Jan Sangh. The glorious pooiticans of India like Mulayam, Laloo and all the muslim appeasement parties were ex-janata and Advani’s stand in hardline hindutva was the turning point in hindutva politics…
