Basically downsize and low cost region. All his kids are settled in different states. He looked if Reno airport has good connectivity to these states. No State tax. Did not care about social circle. same concept for ppl living in high value neighborhoods and when they retire there is no point in holding expensive homes. I have seen this in Canadians, coz its their house they bank on for their retirement especially in GTA area and this holds true for any organically appreciated properties.
