It's not Padaghattam 2.0 but it is ....

Padaghattam 1.75 

Almost anukunnade jarigindi. Went with least of expectations, even though release trailer is a bit better. 

Another routine rotta masala story..but instead of concluding in one part, they stretched it to 2 parts...biggest mistake IMO. 

After predictable but somewhat engaging first half , in the 10 minute interval block (usa theatres realized they can make lot more money, so interval stretched to almost 20 minutes) we all felt "hmm... we are wrong in our analysis"..

BUT, 

2nd half felt like a different movie... and ending is nabhooto bavashyati... I missed few minutes due to nature calls (drank lots of beer before and during intrerval) and I thought did I miss anything that ending is this shocking...no, i didn't miss anything. Director tried for shock value.... 

 

Anirudh music.... situation ki relation no....just keep going...engaging in most parts... 

Editor tried to save a bit, but can't do in 2nd half. Janhavi is there for another typiccal no substance character. No wonder hindi audience sterio type south movies. 

Koratala...why elevate such routine movie so much? Bhayam, Dhairyam naa bondha..
