Let me keep it simple, there is no vote bank for Congress in AP. Despite strong anti incumbency, they failed to grow in 2024 elections. They are just a partner of CBN with back hand alliance. 
 

Sharmila is good for TVs. She will get coverage from Yellow media. All Yellow cadre wants her to grow so that she can replace her brother. 

INDIA alliance will form government in 2029 at Centre though.

Sharmila came into AP political picture very late, building aura or ecosystem for congress is very tough with in the months, anti-incumbency undi grow avvaledu anukovadam tappu, I feel sharmila has some personal agenda which may kill AP congress in long run, CBN back hand ledu, front hand ledu. 2014 lo kuda CBN used same formula in AP Cycle mundu seat lo BJP, venaka seat lo Congress. TDP had official alliance with Congress in 2019 citing Democratic Compulsions. Once the alliance failed terribly in TG, they dropped the idea of alliance in AP. CBN happily stayed away from Congress as soon as the elections are done and Modi came back to power again. He is much closer to Congress than people think. My money is on him to form alliance with Congress in 2029. Jagan doesn’t have the political skills to forge alliances. 

Sharmila’s primary goal is to kill the future of Jagan and growth of Congress is secondary. She doesn’t care as long as YCP is not in power.

2018 TG results theda kottesariki TDP official alliance with Congress was broken, at one point of time they even thought to go back with BJP in 2019 but it was too late and YCP occupied that space. Compulsions started after elections thats the reason TDP sent their RS MP's to BJP and merge their party in RS. ippudu AP lo jaruguthunna matha rajakeeyalu chusthunte I dont think they will come back to congress.
