I still thinking had chiru would have done movies in those 10 years. He would have been different league and above all by this time with untouchable record.

10 years is huge gap for any hero and chiru was top.1 at that time.

His movie collection used to be almost double to next best.

Last movie before Flop Praja Rajyam political stunt was "Sankar Dada Zindabad" and it was disastrous at box-office ..

hyderabad loo sudarshan 70mm loo vachhindi anukunta  and 1st day morning show was not full... 

Like Snr NTR he played safe game and entered politics when his movie career was going no where or we can say in downward trend.

Though i was big fan of chiru in childhood , i am sad to say he lost all respect by doing Bu** Sh** post selling Praja Rajyam party..

inka kuppi gantulu , heroine too dances emiti naa bonda..  Chiru simply wasted his last 15+yrs be it starting & selling political party and continuing doing rubbish movies...

Chiru Bhayya ki 69yrs , okka movie elanti roles cheyyachhu kada..   ANR did it when he was 67yrs...  BTW nenu ANR abhimani assalu kadu...

ANR , NTR were no saints and vallu kuda luchha characters chesaaru... infact ramya krishna & ANR ki oka romantic song kuda vuntundi...

Basically my point was 60yrs taruvata atleast few movies ANR and NTR tried to match their age be it Major Chandrakant or ANR 's Seeta ramayya gari manavaralu etc..

Rajnikant Padayappa movie loo he has 2 grown up daughters still manages to retain his stardom or look at Aamir Khan's character in Dangal.. and thats lacking in chiru...

Chiru still has grace anna.. though I would love to see some matured roles from him but he is still stuck there and people watching it.. Bhola shankar debbaki realization vachindi anukutunna.. let’s see

Chiru's USP is Dance !! Also he's able to pull crowds even now wid wat he does .. if the story and presentation is good enough !!

Naa drustilo age is just a number .. Look at SRK .. he still does in his films (Lover boy / Romantic actor roles) what he used to do 30 yrs ago & successful as well .. Chiru has done a lot of versatile / Offbeat movies during his prime such as Rudraveena, Swayamkrushi, Apathbandhavudu etc,  kani ilanti movies lo kuda Dance moves lo matram compromise avvaledu .. 

Trends chala maripoyayi .. Ipudu 60+ yrs actors kuda .. fit ga vundi .. movies single handed ga carry chesthunaru .. Western movies lo laaga .. NTR / ANR tho manam Chiru ni compare cheyalem .. vallaki mass following vunna .. personality/ style wise .. oka age vachaka .. vallu apudu vunna young actors tho compete cheyalekapoyaru .. Chiru's case is completely different .. he still gives the current gen actors, a run for their money !!

Rajni / Mohanlal / Mammotty / Amitabh .. veellandaru actresses tho dance cheyatledu ekkuvaga coz they're not known for that, anthe thappa .. still playing nothing less than hero-oriented action-filled roles without compromising on wat they're good at !! So evari skills & confidence batti vallu valla roles select chesukuntaru kani age aipoindhi kabatti ilane vundali anukovadam knchm chadhastham la anipisthundhi nakaithe !!
