I have one doubt. Usa intha advanced country but last hurricane lo 250 ppl died.

In india during tofaans we never see such big numbers.

Is that india does better in handling these catastrophys or usa  is lagging with man power or ppl in usa are adamant fo leave the place unlike in undia. when was last time india saw this much deaths for tofaan.

Usa lo especially  Florida u know abt storms every years, but still could not handle deaths

India has pakka houses vs houses in US are delicate. Even in India there will be lot of deaths, u saw what happen in vijaywada cpl of months ago that was not even hurricane.

CAT2 or 3 may not be an issue if inland, if by the waters already Helene ki baga rod degindi… so this will be a major blow for the ppl by the water.

Water is the killer not wind, Vijayawada got similar amount of rainfall around 30cm.

Topology is important here, heavy rainfall was in Appalachian mountains so water gathered downstream and washed away everything along the river. Water came up to attic in homes anta. And I think forecast wasn't showing NC first.

India lo mostly flat lands kabatti we don't see that much damage. I think Waynad had similar event this year
