Cheapest car to buy and maintain for local travel now. 

Tech - others are catching up , but not quite there in the same price range. 

I have a car for 6 years and I only changed tires (they do wear out faster) so far.

Depending on the location and your budget.. if you can afford a Mercedes and want a luxury vehicle, may be Tesla is not for you.. also some states have very good leases on Hyundai and Kia if you can get one… 

if you are buying, model 3 and Y are better than most EV’s.. low apr, no issues with the engines, very very few recalls, best safety ratings, best tech and infotainment…
