May be gents don’t relate to to.. but Ladies need some occasion to dress up, group and dance.. Andhra vallaki ee bathukamma alaantide... 😁😁  Bathukamma will get bigger and bigger.. 

Hanuman temple and Sri Krishna temple lo Garba pedithe, more than half of the crowd is Telugu people.. 😂

We live in times of surplus now…. But End of harvest dabbulu vastayi kada.. so they have more to spend.. Anduke sankranthi ki andaru new clothes konukkuntaaru… new movies release chesedi kuda anduke.. people will spend more money during Pongal… 

when we were kids, we used to get new clothes only on two occasions- one for birthday and one for sankranthi..

Andhra celebrates Devi Navaratrulu during Dussera in a very grand way. What are you talking? If more people in US are celebrating Bathukamma in US , that only means one thing,  Telangana origin population has grown up in US.

Sankranthi is a Harvest festival. The entire celebration for that. Since when did Bhatukamma become a harvest festival?

This is In Andhra anna… I don’t know about TG.. different areas have different customs… even in Andhra, seema people may do it differently.. I am not sure

sankranthi is celebrated in Telangana also bro... utharayanam loki praveshistadu suryudu... bheeshmudu ee time kosam wait chesi mari chanipothadu... it has great importance. Atla kindle cheyoddu... entha state vere ayithe matram mana hinduism ni maname lokuva cheyoddu...

but the way it is celebrated in andhra and telangana is completely different…its another festival in telangana and the biggest festival in andhra..

Dasara festival poi... bhathukamma festival ni promoting... i just avoid ante... no hatred... or against to it....just ignore

Deepavali and Dussera laga pan Indian festival kaakapoyina -almost aa range festival Makar Sankranti.

It is one of the most widely celebrated pan India festivals (along with AP, Telangana, Maharashtra, Assam, Punjab, Gujarat etc).

Manam andaram Gregorian calendar follow avvadam start chesina taruvatha obviously it is the first major Hindu festival in the calendar yea   - already new year oopu lo unnapudu ee Makar Sankranti vacchedi and adey festival tempo continue ayyedi aa month antha.

Hyderabad lo unnapudu our school used to give us 3 day holidays. It was massive and big.
