This is objectively true. Reciprocation won't possibly won't  work  as US imports bulk of generic drugs from India, increasing their prices would defeat the purpose. Another area that gets targeted then would be the services (IT&ITES) as India is backend office for US.

Moreover they cannot start manufacturing in usa considering the cost. He will say to his follwers , bring back pharma sector manufacturing , automobile industry production to Michigan etc ani .

It's necessarily the cost per se. Free trade agreements are created with the interests of corporates, treating countries like corporations and escape tariffs and unionizations. 

This allowed movement of factories and jobs to less industrialized nations, some of whom were tamed with binding Petro dollar in their central banks, while creating cheaper costs for American Conglomerates. But it also decimated the blue collar and partially lower end white collar workforce in US. 

The Human costs in terms of these make people angry. Those that lost jobs because of free trade aren't liking them, because it has very less for them to gain and more to loose. Say, if a car is made in Mexico the sticker price for Americans doesn't come down much, while Americans that used to make the cars lost the jobs. The upper end executives make more profit as they can sell cars in Mexico too without tariffs. America used to be very insular and self sufficient nation before, even after the WWII and Cold war periods. People have a living memory of that and then the gradual decline of their self sufficiency. The path that he treads over this term, will be interesting.
