Wrong perception. If food is only the concern then why aged people getting diabetic around 50’s. There are many factors but to post a disco in social! Somasa or pizza makes more noise.

lot of factors too. maa thata ki almost 60s lo vunnappudu he got diabetic; he was a smoker and drinker all his life oka last 4-5 years of his life he quit smoking.  when I look back his healthy habits he has none, walking cycling lantivi em lekunde; post retirement kuda he has had some major surgeries for duodenal ulcer and other stuff which I would say because his habits of smoking and consumption of alcohol. I am surprised with that much of smoking and alcohol he lived till 70s, he made it to 70s because he always ate seasonal fruits, nuts and I never saw him over eating.

for elders getting diabetes is because of food habits and lack of exercise. if you control diet and exercise atleast you can be in pre-diabetic zone. type-2 is basically because lack of such good habits;

Chicken and Fish r part of indian meal aa? Week ki okka sari non-veg tini part of meal ante ela bossu.

Even now many indians are vegetarians or eat protein non veg just once a week. Maybe coastal lo unde valu more fish tintaru emo like bengalis/telugus in coastal areas but general ga meat consumption is very less. Also, protein knowledge chala takkuva india lo. Majority think eating dal is enough for protein.

People belonging to farming communities and some people in coastal areas eat non-veg regularly.

Other people especially in cities barely eat non-veg twice a week.

People should eat atleast 250-300 gm chicken/fish everyday.

Kerala lo non-veg consumption ekkuva that's why people there are well built compared to other states.even Andhra lo kooda konni communities lo ekkuve.

European countries have the highest meat consumption in the world and that's the reason their people are very well built.

not true

idly dosa peanut chutney

beans thotakura peas eggs chicken fish r part of indian meal

pbbm is no physical activity

indian food is the best food

This is correct. The problem is calorific intake doesn't match lifestyle. People consume high glycemic food like double polished rice, particularly in Andhra. Two decades back it's a status symbol.

No, WG, EG lo general ga seafood consumption ekkuve. It depends on your economic conditions too.

Protein intake tho oka misconception undhi. More protein doesn't necessarily mean more muscle mass. 80% of muscle mass is water. Btw. Peanut chutney is protein. Andhra lo nuts vadakam kooda ekkuve. Cashew nuts which has good chunk of protein ni kooda chala fries lo vestharu.

Fish lo particularly Pulsa, Bommideylu, Godari royyalu ekkuva tintaru. Kakinda lo Sarpavaram market untadhi, Prathi roju kala kala ladudhi. Seafood baga tintaru.

Even in our house we eat chicken/fish everyday .

Our usually routine is fish/chicken plus rice plus sambar/rasam/pappu plus some dry vegetable curry or sometimes even wet vegetable curry.

Same used to happen in our Village.

Peanuts is not an efficient source of protein.

You need to consume 1100+ calories worth of peanuts to get the same amount of protein you get by consuming 300-400 calories of chicken.
