em cheyalem.. whatever food changes we do should be sustainable and you should love that change

otherwise just live with it and include walking and stretching. reduce calorie intake thats the max we can do.

lot of factors too. maa thata ki almost 60s lo vunnappudu he got diabetic; he was a smoker and drinker all his life oka last 4-5 years of his life he quit smoking.  when I look back his healthy habits he has none, walking cycling lantivi em lekunde; post retirement kuda he has had some major surgeries for duodenal ulcer and other stuff which I would say because his habits of smoking and consumption of alcohol. I am surprised with that much of smoking and alcohol he lived till 70s, he made it to 70s because he always ate seasonal fruits, nuts and I never saw him over eating. 

for elders getting diabetes is because of food habits and lack of exercise. if you control diet and exercise atleast you can be in pre-diabetic zone. type-2 is basically because lack of such good habits;
