37% dip in f1 visa for India , fall 2024

F1 visa saw a huge dip around 37% for visa approvals.

Last year saw 87,700 approvals for fall 2023

This year the approval number is just around 33,200

But there is good number of b1 b2 visas. Around 59,000 ...tourism is being encouraged but not f1 industry

You can't grant visa like this forever kadha Anna. You should stop somewhere and bring to normal range. COVID loss cover chesaru now it's time to restrict. Next 2byears we will hear more cases about RFE and F1 rejections as well.
