there are two ways you can take over a country...  one, economical dominance like owning all the revenue generating companies like media, pharma, industries lands etc it could be anything.

seconds, by waging war and conquering.... 

so by now you should know why our govt shouldn't allow companies like starlink. just imagine what happens if musk is unhappy with Indian govt and what he can do....

It is not only about competition but it is important for our Security. Terrorists, Anti india elements, tukde tukde gang ki easy aipotadi communication when Govt tries to tap or cut net connections during out of situations.

Then the government should ensure that these companies spend on r&d and engage in fair practices.

If these companies can't even dominate in their home country in fair competition after 100 years of government patronage to some companies then these companies are useless.chinese Japanese Korean companies are dominating foreign market in so many sectors while these mestri houses are running an import business in India ,nothing more. 

why can't the government run PSUs  if national security is a concern ,they won't ,because they will lose on the commission by these mestris.It's not like these companies have created high tech that the government can't replicate.

think why China was not able to enter into Oil and Gas market within US? Commissions okate reason aithe kaadu kada either for US or India. there are other factors also,

Even U.S runs on crony capitalism ,do you think U.S elected reps don't get funding from companies just like in India?

But there is a difference ,American companies atleast invest in r&d and innovate new tech while indian companies just import the tech from foreign companies and increase the mark up on that.
