The DS-160 form that i have used to book my VISA slot is expired. Im not able to retrieve the form to complete and have just save as Draft initially just to book the slot.

I dont want to pay the fees again and can’t afford to loose my existing visa slot date.

could someone please let me know what are the options in this situation and if i can submit a neW DS160 and take that fof dropbox submission?

Yes, you can submit a new DS-160 form without losing your existing visa slot date or paying the fees again. Here’s how you can handle the situation:

  1. Fill out a new DS-160 form:
Complete and submit a new DS-160 form on the CEAC website. Save the new DS-160 confirmation number.

  2. Update your Appointment Profile:

    • Log in to your visa appointment scheduling account where you booked the slot.
    • Update your profile with the new DS-160 confirmation number.
    • Your appointment date will remain the same as long as you update the DS-160 confirmation number before your Dropbox submission or interview.
  3. Carry Both DS-160 Confirmation Pages:
During your dropbox submission or visa interview, carry both the old and new DS-160 confirmation pages as a precaution.

This approach ensures your visa slot remains intact, and you don’t have to repay the fees. If you’re unsure, consult a legal expert to avoid mistakes. The Casewise.ai Lawyer database can help you find immi lawyers for personalized advice.
