Today in All hands call there was open discussion about hiring freeze and no H1B referral or extensions for next 2 years. I am shell shocked and started to look for opportunities. Company is one among fortune 100. This is painful.

No perm as well Big companies lo. They will see so many audits hiring freeze lo GC chesthe. I think Amazon already doing that. So ivanni common layoffs hiring freeze time lo. Inka vachedhi holiday season racha racha ne

Still people doing 2-3 jobs if you don't know reality. All you need good health and patience. You can do anything with any visa

I remember there was a freeze in Google for perms. But how about other companies? Never thought Amazon will do that as they rely on so many new student hires/visa holders.

Sorry Google ananoyi Amazon Anna. But big companies aithe max cheyyaru perm layoffs kaani hiring freeze vunte cause all world knows lay offs gurunchi and USCIS ki manchi target so they won't risk. Max they do h1b sponsor but perm they can delay I guess. Yeah one of my cousin joined in Amazon recent ga OPT la h1b chestha annaru. H1b is okay perm will take time

Economy bagundi jobs unte be it right wing or left wing ,legal immigration meda antha negative undadu bro.

But once economy is down and jobs opportunities are less than people are against any type of immigration.

I know that we are working for multiple years and get attached to this country  ,but fact is H1B itself is "TEMPORARY WORK VISA" which is based on the needs of  the country and we are temporary workers
