BEWARE OF A CURRENT SCAM IN DENTON, TX

Person running the scam -

Lankisetti Sai Phani Santosh, Student at Texas A&M, Denton, TX. Started his course last fall (September 2023), and did LLB in Krishna University, Machilipatnam. S/o Lankisetti Balaji (advocate in Machilipatnam).

His main target is Telugu Students, H1B Job Holders, Telugu Restaurant owners, Car dealers, real estate developers, consulting firms.

He scammed 30 Telugu people in Denton & Collin counties.

• Santosh is offering Doordash accounts of others to our students based on bi-weekly commission. Our guys wanted to make some extra part time money to help themselves so they fell into it. After 3 to 4 months, he somehow deactivates the account & blame the guy who is using it and threatening them for a ransom amount up to 9k to 10k. If they disagree then he threatens them filing court case against them for settlement and if the guys doesn't fall for it, he is filling false cases against them and trying to get off court settlement for more amount. So he is using his LLB knowledge and filing the cases & naturally our Students settle after that with money 10-20k USD. Students at UNT. Denton, TX falls into his trap. After 4 months he deactivated the DD account & threatened him to give amount.

• Santosh filled cases on all Telugu restaurants in Denton. He orders food and throw his hair in to the food and take picture and file cases and ask for settlement amount up to 50k USD.

• Santosh filled cases on big consulting firms in Dallas he threatens owners and ask for money.

• Santosh filled cases on different car dealers where he buy new cars and show some false reason and ask for money.

• If he knows the concern person is doing 2 jobs he threaten the whole family including women and ask for money.

If they disagree then he threatens them to file court case against them for settlement and if the guys doesn't fall for it, he is filling false cases against them and trying to get off court settlement fo
