ManchiDonga
As you may know, the builder's warranty for the AC/heating system, electrical system, plumbing, oven/range, stove, and dishwasher will expire after two years, unless you opt for an extended warranty through the company. After doing some research, I decided to sign up with Choice Home Warranty (https://www.choicehomewarranty.com) and wanted to share this option with you as well. Their Total and Top plan includes the coverage for following items: Clothes Washer Clothes Dryer Refrigerator Air Conditioning System Heating System Water Heater Electrical System Plumbing System Plumbing Stoppage Oven/ Range/ Stove Built-In Microwave Cooktop Dishwasher Garbage Disposal Ceiling & Exhaust Fans Ductwork Garage Door Opener Whirlpool Bathtub The cost of this plan is $1,960 for 6 years, which breaks down to $326 per year (approximately $1 per day). There is a $65 service call fee, and if any of the covered items break, they will repair it or replace it if it’s beyond repair. The policy is transferable—if you move to a new home in 2-3 years, you can take the coverage with you. Additionally, if you sell your home, you can cancel the policy at any time and receive a refund for the unused period. They also offer a price-match guarantee. If you find a better price from another company covering the same items, Choice Home Warranty will match it. If you do find such a quote, please share it with me so I can take advantage of it as well 🙂 For further details, you can reach out to Aaron Edery (Sales Agent) at 917-993-6102 or [email protected]. Please note: I do not work for this company 🙂 —I’m only sharing this information to help our community benefit from this promotion. Be sure to verify all details with the company directly if you’re planning to sign up.

If you are still in cancellation window just cancel it. The contractors they hire is very cheap and they don’t respond once you paid your service call fee.. their reimbursement sucks.. they have cap on every repair. For example if your washer is unrepairable or no parts.. they will not replace it. They will bargain with you saying we will give $300 go and buy…
