If you are buying options , don’t buy weeklies just go for max expiry and do a spread . If stocks go down a little then cover the higher leg . For example  qqq 2027 500-600 and if/when qqq goes down you can 600 leg . I usually don’t his with aapl but recently it’s not doing good . So  switched  to amzn/pltr

Need some advise. Thanks in advance

Buy and Hold is the best way to make money.

It sounds simple....but its very tough.

If you really want challenge....buy good companies and hold for atleast 5 years. I dare you :)

If you want to make money using options, You gotta learn technicals first. 2nd is learning the strategies. Youtube is your friend.

Selling Cash secured puts and selling Covered calls are the best way to make income from stocks if you learn to have patience and understand technicals.

Buying Calls and Puts when there is an opportunity and you think and convinced stock will go in one direction. You really have to search for deals based on premium and take decisions accordingly.

IF you play with discipline you can make money ...

But I do agree with @krishnaaa that you make most money with long term investment and holding good stocks for 5 years and it sounds easy but its not easy holding a stock for 5 yrs with so many ups and downs in stock through years.
