For locals ...I agree. People moving back would opt for IB though instead of CBSE.

The biggest problem is there is not standard model as variables affect parity in a different manner. $100k in a low cost of living place , say where I live, Syracuse, Upstate NY is different from $100 k in Big cities like NYC, Atlanta, Boston or the ones in California.

Also, the comparison in Indian rupees is moot as well as real estate in India is detached from INR and makes only sense in $$. Also, making 23-25 lakhs INR in gross salary is very different from earning in Business or trading and is then again different from living in Metros like Delhi and Mumbai or Bengaluru or even in Hyderbad vs tier II cities in India.

INR makes sense only if you are mortgage free in India as the interest rates are very different and so are mortgage terms (fixed vs variable).

what a stupid comparision, mana system lo bokkalni ila ee power parity ani pogudukuni jabbal sarsutunnam anthe

in india you get road side food below 1$ (health gone case) and you get five star hotel food which is worth of 100$ inequality  ni peaks lo pettukini power parity ki thigh slapping @3$%

Asalu $100k sampadinche vadu would never put kids in private schools in US and would only go to public schools.

so if this candidate go to India, why the hell will this guy put his kid in an international school that costs a bomb.

the above cbsc list shared are much better than the public schools in US
