India lo rural loeveryone using  jio air fiber or airter air fiber. 5g based home Internet

Starlik is useless to in india

All the above have severe quality issues, frequent interruption issues, speed is not what they promised. Seen firsthand. Inka vpn through aeithe very very slow.

I prefer starlink in india. Also in african countries starlink is a booming business.

Question is, Would it come at an affordable price for an average Indian ??

Next question would be, can the firm be profitable with the prices they set, atleast within an year of its commencement ??

I guess, if Starlink is able to crack this puzzle of providing better quality service at a lower / equivalent price based on current market trends & yet be profitable ... that would change the market completely !!

I can think of only one way though & that is by SCALING the business very rapidly & by catering to a huge customer base .. but the catch is it'll take time & initially it might not see profits ...

India is a huge market, yes it will be very much profitable because of cheap labor, cheap infra. Dont forget starlink has commercial customers like airlines, railways etc etc which pay huge premiums.

Always good to have access to better quality service if it comes at a reasonable cost!

If Starlink has to survive, then they have to sell below $20/month. Will they be able to do so ?

Starlink may have a market of its own, a minimal market that may not threaten existing giants. If star link challenges existing players, remember how Reliance and then Jio stepped up the price war in early 2000’s and then again in 2014’s…Atarvata Jio and Airtel iddare survive ayinatu.
