GMO yes but artificial I don't think so. are you implying GMO= Artificial. then GMO is ubiquitous. tofu is made with similar process as paneer, in fact in India now-a-days it is reported that paneer is being made artificially so people should avoid street side food which includes paneer as one of the raw materials in cooking process. My experience with brown rice is always good. growing up , we switched to brown rice early like when I’m 8-9 years old… and once you get used to the taste of brown rice .. white rice experience is not great. one thing I would say is eat it warm … I like feel the of rice brawn.. in my food. adopting to it takes time.. but have it with sambars, pulusu… so on.. it might help. recently came across black/dark purple ish rice … will try it soon and provide a feedback. Most to the Telugu batch don't like to sweat at all. By design US is car oriented. So they seldom walk yet keep eating. Food in US is by design made to make you obese. Lots of seed oils, processed cheese, lots of sugary (GMO Corn) drinks, refined carbs, even coffees in Starbucks, a boba teas are sugary mess. End result bloated bellies weak arms and core. Honestly i dont see many overweight or obese white kids in suburban schools here (ofcourse my sample size is small). I saw more indian overweight kids. But overall kids in schools seem pretty healthy atleast in suburbs,

The poor you're the chances of you being obese is very high. Cheap foods are pretty much GMO and are laced with sugars and corn syrup. So if you are in a middle to upper middle white neighbourhood where occupants are more conscious about their choices, then kids look good. The tendencies of kids also change with age and influences they pick up as they age. If they pick up gulping soda and coffee with their peers, then they are choosing their own path to obesity.
