Earlier days boyapti/koratala/Trivikram movies ki default ga DSP vunde but ippudu vallu work cheyyatam lee veedi tho.. inka Sukku kuda stop chesthe inka veedu chinna cinema ki kottukovatame.

People have short memory... This Movie didn't get great reviews...or collections 

COVID , songs and memes ( people have lots of time ) made it a huge hit after the release.

Yes, huge following in North 2nd tier - but look at no of theaters there and ticket prices, it has to bring money from metros and Telugu states . Except Telugu, you can't increase the ticket prices for other languages...

Pushpa was a big hit.. aa time lo Jagan mamayya ticket prices baga thagginchi pedda debba kottaadu.. they made 100 cr only on Hindi version.. songs were a big craze even before the release..

Hmm, okay... In USA it didn't collect much if I remember. Also, got some flack for misogynistic scenes which no one cares the days I guess. 

I think most people watched it for songs and mannerisms...

Sooseki is good, kissik is bad. Title song is okay.. Let's see rest of the songs.
